Binky's Nest

Binky’s Nest is as described cozy, walkable and vintage. The location is what makes this place so great. Everything is within walking distance. A great morning coffee at Kaffee Haus is steps away. It is definitely a no frills experience but it’s comfortable and clean!

Location was great!! 1 block from Main Street and across the street from Market Platz. No car needed as long as everything you want to do is along Main Street, or just off of. Though if you don't like crowds and being in the center of it all, avoid this location, as it can be very overwhelming, especially on the weekends.

Decor was cute, though it was heavily fragranced, as if to masking another smell. A hint of cat urine or something similar was occasionally noticed.

It was clean, though not having a way to wash coffee cups or anything besides the bathroom sink with hand soap, was not great.

The gate and latch going up to Binky's Nest was broken, so it was a little difficult to maneuver opening and closing when hands were full. You had to hold the gate up, and put the latch back in place, as it wasn't working to just close on it's own. Once unlatched the latch would drop, as well as the gate.

The management company provided great service, up to arrival.
Instead of staying 15 nights, the stay was cut to only 3.
No refunds were offered, tho it was in the agreement 'No Refunds', so it wasn't expected.
Never met the owner.

I would only recommend this place as a last resort for someone and definitely let them know of the underlying smell, with heavy fragrance trying to mask it, and let them make their own decision from there.

Property is perfectly located a block off of main with easy parking. This second floor property could use an update, however. While clean, it feels a bit dusty and dated. 1 full and 2 twin bed available. The beds are not very comfortable. Overall 7/10 with the location driving the score higher.

Wonderful location, cozy spot to spend our evenings. Loved it!

The rental is very nice and close to Main Street- which was a real bonus! We liked the unit very much except for two things- there was a very bad smell- which honestly smelled like "weed" the whole weekend. And there was no thermostat that we could find to adjust the temperature. It was uncomfortably warm on our last night there. But we still enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Was skeptical about booking a garage apt but turned out to be a great choice. We loved it. Great location, it was very clean and very very comfortable. Would book it again in a minute.

The apartment was very nice and decorated to make you feel comfortable and peaceful. The apartment was dirty in some of the areas and the yard needed to be cleaned up and repairs needed but overall the apartment was comfortable. Street was very loud and noisy.

We didn't need a kitchen, so the space was fine. I got the main room and the two boys were perfect for the twin beds. Enough space for us.

The apartment was clean, but the front entrance needs to be cleaned-up, because it looks unkept. My cousin and are in are 60's and we had difficulty getting up the stairs with suite cases. We were not told that it was on the second floor. Some of the remote controls didn't work. Otherwise the stay was pleasant and the rooms quaint.

Best part about the rental was location one block from Fredericksburg's main street. Rental was nice, bed was comfortable, little smaller than pictures/description. Could have used some darker window covers or blinds. Overall great experience, quiet, comfortable, and convenient location.

There were two large rooms with two twin and one queen bed plus a restroom. We were in a great location being one block off of Main St. and next to Marketplatz. There is a microwave, coffee maker, and small refrigerator in the room which is great. Bring a steamer or iron and a hair dryer as there isn’t one. Also, you have to ask the rental agency for the WiFi password or text the owner. The price is great for the space and location. We come every month and will definitely stay here again.

Then property was convenient to everything, clean comfortable. Bathroom door needs some WD40 very squeaky. I thought it was bed and breakfast but there want any breakfast.
