Local cheeses, amazing wines, live music, activities, vendors, and delicious foods! Held at several locations throughout Fredericksburg, the Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival spans four days and features events dedicated to the vibrant culinary culture of the Texas Hill Country.
Opening Night at Contigo Ranch
Enjoy the first night of the festival at Contigo Ranch with a signature cocktail from LALO Tequila before trying out small snacks, wines, and pairing stations throughout the grounds. Food will be supplied by local producers, including Hill Country Herb Garden, Mikey’s Garden, Roam Ranch, Zuly’s, Turtle Creek Mushrooms, Prochnow Vineyard, and more.
Street Dinner
Enjoy an intimate night in Downtown Fredericksburg at this event, which transforms the area into an open-air dining experience. The dinner will include sparkling wine, craft cocktails, and a four-course dinner. Make the night even more special with the new Apres Garden Party, where you can enjoy a series of artisan cheeses, chocolate, and martinis.
Grand Tasting
Perhaps the main event of the festival, the Grand Tasting experience, is over 75 vendors offering fine wines and artisan cheeses, along with craft beverages, shopping, live music, and more. This part of the festival will take place at Marketplatz von Fredericksburg, where you can sample plenty of food and drinks while surrounded by the local community.
Waterfront Brunch
For the final event, enjoy a nice brunch right by the water over at Fischer & Wieser Farmstead. Behind historic Das Peach Haus, you, along with the rest of the event's guests, will be treated to a chef-prepared meal, including small bites and wines from Fischer & Wieser. This event will also feature live music, making this a peaceful and relaxing way to close out the festival.
